worked more on the code for the radio, it now prints & connects to the frequency in the const i set 🙂 i also started connecting the pins of my lcd display to the arduino (where i will display the actual frequency) next i hope to figure out how to use a rotary encoder so you can control the frequencies

i made a script called janitor that updates a bunch of stuff on my mac machine like: • brew packages • rust • pip • and so on i made an alias so I can just type janitor in my terminal and it runs the script, it feels like a real cli to me even though its like 20 lines of bash code 😂

day 10 :blob_hype: of #10-days-in-public, i decided to go w/ tremor.so so we have a bunch of components to built off of to make our web dashboard. I dockerized the dashboard next app and pushed that to github packages. Lastly, I built (in progess) a basic sms “microservice” using twillio which will be used to send users 2FA codes (the 2fa functionality isn’t implemented but i am able to send text messages) ~ andrew (do i get some fudge now 😋)

hi! its day 9 of #10-days-in-public today I created & pushed our backend to github packages (ghcr.io) the landing page is almostttt done! I hope to get it done tomorrow on the last day of this challenge :pleading:. anyways, we added this cool typing animations (I linked a video). It looks really nice and im super happy with it. hey! this is day 8 of #10-days-in-public. I created a workflow to run cargo clippy everytime you push to the CLI repository. I also started building the most used command in our CLI (most likely?) the “substore database deploy” command. Its static right now since we haven’t finished the API thats spins up a container for dbs. ~ andrew

day 7 of #10-days-in-public i didnt get much done today sadly, i had a headache and had school work to catch up on. I did make more progress on the figma mockup for the dashboard. Lastly, I setup storybook.js.org for the dashboard app and thats pretty much it! Tomorrow I plan to tackle way more 🙂.

Day 6 of #10-days-in-public I worked on turning the figma mockup into a next app, (its not done yet so it looks pretty bland)I also plan to use framer tomorrow or on day 8 to implement an animation on “Redis” to switch it out with other text (postgres, kafka) etc I also got around to making a mockup for the web dashboard (work in progress), id appreciate any feedback. i also want to add running databases to this mockup soon, most likely tomorrow 🙂

Day 5 of #10-days-in-public I modified our current landing page to fit our color scheme which is pretty basic for now, I’m going to turn the figma mock-up into a real site so i can be deploy it tonight. I’m going to use nextjs and cf pages :) Also I’d love to get feedback on the landing page or what can be improved, I’m not good at figma so id appreciate it 🤞. other than this I didn’t do that much work on my project, although tomorrow I plan to get a lot done.

Day 4 of #10-days-in-public. I setup nexus prisma (graphql-nexus.github.io), and I faced an issue setting it up but fortunately I fixed it I also started creating a basic mock-up for our web dashboard so I have something to build off of, since we already have a colorscheme and an idea of what our web dashboard will look like it shouldn’t be too hard to implement. I plan to start building the web dashboard on either day 5 or day 6.

(I will send a screenshot soon in the thread). Tomorrow I plan to start building the auth system for the console.
