My science olympiad funs will (probably) end today. I am competing in a 3.5-hour-long exam of which only a quarter will pass. Physics isn’t my strong suit but at least i’m already better than the other 115 that competed in the previous phase.

I should be close to finishing, but it gets to a point where you’ve written so much LaTeX that your brain starts getting structured like a .tex file
I find it funny how my 2023 GitHub skyline (first image) is already looking like that, with peaks. Compared to the 2022 one (second image), you can really see a pattern of when I use it for school or when I give up on coding.

Technically 2nd day of the hardware party for me, since I've been super busy with schoolwork and exams. I'm going to learn SolidJS in order to build my application. Chose it mostly because a friend recommended I use it instead of React.
Second EA submitted to IBIS for assessment. I had been waiting to send it, to see if I got a bit of feedback about the design, but I didn't receive it.

This is where I'm headed this afternoon. I finish a school exam at 14:45 and have to be at the university (about 20' by foot) at 15:30. I'll probably grab a snack in the supermarket on my way there, because there's no time to stop at home, make lunch and eat. The chemistry olympiads are known for being rather easy to qualify for.

• Installed the hardware and flashed the SD with Raspbian.
I'm ready to start doing the coding now! I've also expanded my plans, planning to bring a similar app to iPhone and Android

mmmm timelapseI was testing out how to paint the logo with some white nail polish (my usual way to paint 3D prints, still haven't painted my nails tho lmao) and I'm honestly kinda digging it more than the original plan, which was just going with red

I messed up the print by giving it a wrong fileI've designed the parts i'm gonna be 3D printing for the #hardware-party. I used a pre-existing model for the screen support, and modified the I/O holes, as well as tweaking the base. I'll start printing it tonight, probably, and I'll most likely film it using my old iPhone 5S. Hopefully it can do it.
